Cele Lemus was born in D.C to parents who emigrated from Guatemala and Ecuador. Growing up, she lacked the confidence to pursue art. Equipped with chronic pain, she began to express herself in 2025. Lemus explores memories and in doing so, documents the environment and community around her.
